Mamie Brougitte creates bespoke fine art cakes for weddings, celebrations, and private events, with every commission designed specifically for its setting and occasion. The studio regularly works with discerning clients and event planners across the country, creating cakes for celebrations that call for

a highly considered and artistic approach. Rather than working from a fixed menu of styles, the studio approaches each project individually, considering the atmosphere of the event, the surrounding design elements, and the level of detail required to create a piece that feels both distinctive and

deeply considered. The work is rooted in sculptural form, refined composition, and hand-crafted detail. Decorative elements, including the studio’s signature sugar flowers and ornamental finishes, are created entirely by hand over multiple days to achieve a high level of craftsmanship and refined

execution. Each commission is thoughtfully produced not only to create a strong visual presence, but also to feel harmonious within the broader event design. The result is a cake that does more than mark the occasion, it becomes part of the visual language of the celebration itself.

The studio prioritizes exceptional ingredients and carefully developed flavor combinations so that each cake tastes as memorable as it appears. Ingredients are sourced with care, including local produce from the Berkshires and small-batch specialty ingredients.

The process begins with an inquiry.

From there, a tasting and design meeting is scheduled to discuss the event, aesthetic direction, and flavor preferences. For clients outside the Western Massachusetts area, tasting boxes may be shipped and consultations held virtually.

Following the consultation, a custom design sketch is created for the cake. Once the design is approved, a deposit secures the commission and the studio begins the process of creating the decorative elements by hand.

Each cake is personally delivered and installed by the studio to ensure it arrives exactly as intended. Because these pieces are highly detailed and delicate, careful transportation and on-site setup are an essential part of the process. The studio works with clients and planners throughout the country

and regularly travels for celebrations beyond the Berkshires. Commissions typically begin at $2,000, reflecting the level of craftsmanship and handwork involved in each piece. On occasion, the studio may accommodate smaller commissions for local celebrations within the Berkshires when the design

and schedule allow. Because the studio operates in limited seasonal windows, only a select number of commissions are accepted each year. This allows each cake to receive the time, focus, and attention required for highly detailed work.
